Hi samy,
There are two options for this:

1) Recompile the kernel, which , i guess you dont want to do.
2) You can install a kernel module which provides NTFS support in the Linux
kernel.
for more information as to how to implement this point your browser to
this site
   http://linux-ntfs.sourceforge.net/

I would be glad to know wether the above answer helped to solve your query.

Is there an easy way to access NTFS File system from SuSe Linux?

Do I have to recompile the kernel to do this?

Thanks,

Samy Rengasamy.
