	I haven't posted here in a while but I saw something rather scary
today that
	I thought I would pass along.  On the home page at work there is a
daily
	survey.  Today's topic was 'Who invented the Internet'.  There were
4
	choices.

		1. ARPA
		2. Microsoft
		3. University of Texas
		4. Smithsonian Institute

	I voted and then checked the results.  ARPA, the correct answer, had
just
	over 50% of the votes.  But to my surprise a good 25% chose
Microsoft.  That
	many people think Microsoft invented the Internet!!

	Mind you I don't know how many had actually voted.  Also I think the
voting
	is corporate wide, not just the IS department.  But still I would
hate to
	think this is a representative sample.
