I'm a little surprised about setting "Cable select".  What is your
primary drive set to?

On the cyl, hd, sector numbers I'm not surprised that the auto detect
didn't get the numbers exactly right.  Most of the time it won't. 
However, if you set the values manually you'll generally get a number
closer to the advertised size.  If I know the numbers I'll go ahead and
set them myself rather than let the BIOS interface try and figure it
out.
