[NTLUG:Discuss] no /dev/lp0 ???

Go into your bios setup program and verify that the parallel port is
enabled.  If it is already enabled then you might try some of the other
modes.  You should also specify "non-pnp os" in the bios setup program, if
it has such a setting.
