Yes and no. Even if yahoo is serious about blocking spam, which I don't
believe includes their Korea affiliate of course, people will use yahoo.com
as a spoof for their from addresses anyway. This is a good reason for
a company to NOT start doing this to begin with. Hotmail is the same
way and the worst by far is lycos.co.kr.
If yahoo.com shut its doors tomorrow, I would not cry. If lycos.com
and their Korea affiliate shut their doors tomorrow, I would call in
sick and dance all day long. If all Korean domains were blocked....
wow.... I can't even imagine what I would do!
Yahoo, hotmail, etc... should get what they deserve... they certainly
should not be rewarded for their past behavior with my money, that's
for sure. Yes, they are being used because folks know that people
won't dare put yahoo, hotmail and lycos into their RBL lists... but
they're definitely on my list. Don't worry, I periodically scan
the spam for "valid" stuff, occasionally I miss some... oh well.
(two cents.... I get hundreds of spam emails every day folks!)
