Ack.  Netscape 4.77 less "painful"... I don't think so.  Mozilla allows 
for the configuration of
multiple pop/imap and multiple smtp... something Netscape 4 could never 
do right.
It really isn't hard to setup at all (I mean we're talking about 
probably the easiest config
ever on Linux... really).
