Will your TiVO output video files? That is, can you export video to CD, or
to another pc via ethernet.

>From : Video source (camera) in NTSC (S-video or RCA plug)
Via: Video editing software (at least with audio dub)
To: CD burner (preferably in a format that either a PC or a DVD player can
handle... VCD most likely)

modes: A. security (time lapse video)
	B. training videos
	C. experiment monitoring... 'exhibit A type video'

Does a Tivo (or an upgrade derivative) help accomplish this? The Television
tie-ins are going to be hard to sell at my work. A decade ago, (the last
round of 'video-training',) they spent almost 10x on VHS video recorders that
didn't have television recievers built into them, just to keep out any
potential use of the video room as a breakroom a decade. The current
capabilities of our video creation room are way less than what is needed..
the end result tapes have a too much washout in them to be usable, and they
wear out too fast <100 views before the tracking dies. As a result of the
limitations, the trainers never use video as a medium for training as a
result.
