[NTLUG:Discuss] interesting question on ssh and mobility

Does anyone know if putty can be run from CD?  Sure I know it can but ...
What I mean, is if I connect via putty, configure the connection, and 
accept the key, can I copy all of that back to a CD (or even a floppy), 
and then use that "session" from another computer at another location?
If it is possible, is it OK, or potentially dangerous, or illegal?
