Works in SuSE 8.0 with the libnss_wins out of the box. You need to have
a wins server entry in your smb.conf to make sure it can find your wins
server. Then make the change in nsswitch.conf to point hosts to use
wins. I tested by disabling dns in nsswitch.conf and just using wins
for resolution... worked well for me... even with ping.
