[NTLUG:Discuss] quick NIC question

Don't know exactly what you mean by an (Intel) box, but I've been
running a 3c509 and an smc-ultra in an old HP Vectra PC with a P100
using redhat 7.1 for nearly a year without any problems.

I have also been running a redhat 5.2 system with 2 intel eepro100 NIC's
and either a 3c509 or an NE2000 for years.  The only time I have ever
had a problem with multiple NIC's, it was traceable to a poorly designed
motherboard
that wouldn't work with either Linux or that other O/S
