Of course. Different wines have different bouquet, flavor, etc....

A leading question. The question is incorrect since it makes the
assumption that one is possibly a superset of the other. While
it may be true that one has more "features", the other might have
working "features"... so you will prefer working to non-working.
I have used both Wine-X (but not the latest) and Code Weaver's
Wine (I have purchase the plugin as well as Office products).
If the goal is Quicken... I'd go with Code Weavers... as for games,
most D3D games WILL NOT WORK. Even the ones that do work will
require MASSIVE horse power (e.g. a Ti4200+) and still the performance
will be less than Windows. OpenGL tend to work quite well
however. The ones that work the best are the same ones (unfortunately)
that Loki did ports for before they lost it all. If you have
games that are already on Wine-X's list... then you might like
Wine-X, but DON'T expect Quicken to work right with the Wine-X
implementation (though I've had some success with QuickBooks
under true wine... the real one... not the spin-offs).

Wine-X is good for some games and shows promise for D3D someday.
CodeWeaver Wine runs Office... something the others can only
do with some irritating loss of functionality. Now supports
certain versions of Quicken (check their site).

So... I have 3 wines I use... Code Weavers, Wine-X (an older version)
and true Wine.... actually I have an older version of true Wine that
runs MSIE... I keep that around for demos (wow factor).
