I just installed the card. I have pinged other computers from the win
box.  DHCP is not enable, I have a static IP for each comp. and the
Subnet mask is the same on each box.


I don't know how to explain this.  Here goes....When I plug the cable
into the hub nothing shows that it has been connected.

Example:  When I plug in the cable from the win box.  A light comes on
from the hub and from the card in the comp.  When I plug in the cable
from the Debian box no lights on either the hub or the card.

I think the interfaces is configured correctly.  Is there something else
I am missing.   Again I know the card is not broken.
