Duh!  I was doing this late at night.  Bad case of "can't see the forest
for the trees."

Ok...now I get this...

[root at localhost i386]# rpm -Uvh pidentd-3.0.14-8.i386.rpm
Preparing...                ###########################################
[100%]
        package pidentd-3.0.14-8 is already installed

Ok.  So...it's installed.  Obviously the files being referenced on the
web sites are either taking into account a different version of pident
or a different version of the OS.

So...do I just create an inetd.conf file and put the line in there they
are talking about?  I'll give one of the web sites I've been checking
below so you can see what I'm talking about.
