Howdy,
At lunch after the last meeting, I asked if anyone had tried the Intel
C compiler. Nobody said yes, and a couple of people said they had not
tried it because of the cost. I thought it was free for non-commercial
use and said I would look up the details. I may be a little slow, but here
they are. Go to:
http://www.intel.com/software/products/compilers/clin/noncom.htm
You will see a download that says:
"This free Non-Commercial Unsupported download contains
Intel's C++ Compiler 7.0 For Linux"
I have not tried it yet because it is a 68 meg download, which is to
much for my 33.6 dialup(56k modem, but I almost always get 33.6 or
less) But, it is on my list to get the next time I download stuff at a
friend's house where he has broadband.
Good luck,
Ralph
