Hey Tim,
It depends where you are. If you can get DSL I 100% recommend august.net. 
You get a /27 and the supoort (if you ever need it) is awesome!

I hate cable modems. Comcast just bought ATT out so who knows what will 
happen next.

In Flower Mound, I am working with a guy to get a wireless ISP going.. In 
fact, I am on it now.
