Excuse me but... UTC is 6-hours AHEAD of CST, 5-hours of CDT.
We are 6-hours BEHIND UTC.  Look at the timezone info in your
mail headers -- it says -0600 if it doesn't say CST.

Oh, and it's Greenwich, as in, I believe, the location of the
Royal Observatory in England.  Longitude zero runs right through it.

UTC and GMT are close enough to be called the same by most people.
