Or you can do as I did, and just go out and buy a DOCSIS-compliant cable
modem before they come out to set you up. Then, you can be sure you have
one with ethernet. And you don't have to rent theirs.
Just don't hook up your router until they are gone. :)

No probs with my Best Data 300-series either.

It kind of varies. Sometimes they change them often, other times not.

Still no DSL. I made a pain out of myself to everyone I could find until I
finally got AT&T.
Also, be sure and tweak your TCP settings. I went from 1.2Mbps to 1.7Mbps
just by doing that. I haven't told my neighbors about that though... :)
