Never say never... well you didn't use the word never... but you
could have used it. Some newsreaders, including Mozilla, allow
HTML and even (gulp) javascript in mail and news supposedly.

It's a reasonable opinion and one I share. I looked at the
ntlug.org newsgroups the other day and lo and behold, someone
had posted to it. I had to blow the dust and cobwebs off
of my newsgroup config just reply back.
When we tried the newsgroups out way back when... I was hoping
that it would take off... it didn't and the maillist lives on.
To me... I didn't care... just as long as people find a medium
they can live with... for us... it seems to be a maillist... but
times perhaps have changed. Maybe it's time to make a post
the ntlug.org newsgroups (attach to ntlug.org to subscribe)....
hmmm.. it doesn't seem to be working for me with Mozilla right now...
the inn server is up... seems to be responding to requests...
and though the article database looks ok... when queried, there's
nothing there... something is hosed.
