Never had it happen, even during the transition from @home.  I lost it 
once in November of 2001 because I unplugged the wrong cable, but other 
than some startup problems, I've not seen that kind of problem.  That 
would really be a nuisance!

I wonder if the Motorola 4100 behaves the same as the 3100 (both DOCIS 
compatible, which is all they required).  That's the only difference I 
can see, other than never powering off.  Perhaps the 4100 is not 
responding to a reset the way they expect.

Several friends of mine with the same config have had the same results. 
  You guys hack attbi off, or did we just get lucky?  ;-)
