Do some detective work to determine what grub's doing wrong or what
wrong place it's pointing to for boot image.
And then experiment: Stop the boot process and manually change grub's
boot command. To do that, type 'e' during the pause when grub's about
to hand off the boot command. Type 'e' again to edit the command
line, and then 'b' to execute your customized command line. Keep
trying till you find something that works, and then edit
/boot/grub/menu.lst to suit.
