My first computer system was the Osboure I
    http://www.4-winner.com/computers/osborne.htm

A portable CP/M box with 64K main memory, IEEE-488 and RS232 with
2 double density floppy disks. Came with hundreds of
dollars worth of free software. Mine came with SuperCalc,
WordStar and DbaseII (also had MS Basic).

I ran C, Turbo Pascal 2.0, Cobol, LISP and assembler.
I was the hit of my dorm room at Texas A&M University
because I could edit my programs on my computer and
transfer at high speeds (300 baud) to the mainframe
and back.

My hats off to Adam Osborne, creator of the Osborne I
and my first computer. He died today at age 64.
