The auth example was just used as a simple example. The bottleneck I'm
planning for is simply a volume issue. How to handle 500 simultaneous
requests to scan an area for other ships for example. This would not be
an issue of DB access but would be an issue of processor resources.
Being able to distribute the load across maybe 5 servers would greatly
improve the overall response time.
I did find the dkopko How-Too and plan on trying it. However I've found
some discussion board references to the rev 1.04 board being pulled by
ASUS. Just my luck the 2 boards I've got are rev 1.04 ;( More
searching will be necessary. So much for using cutting edge with Linux ;(
