I'm hoping someone has a very quick/simple answer to an annoyance:
i'm trying to authenticate against groups through apache and
mod_auth_mysql. i can get the auth. to work as long as the user
is a member of only a single group, but not when there is a list
of groups in the "groups" field in the mysql table. one book
(Linux Apache Web Server Administration) indicates the groups can
be a comma-delimited list but i can't get that to process, either
with commas or spaces as the delimiters.
does anyone know if a list of groups in a single field is
allowable for this environment? if so, how would it need to be
stored/accessed?
thanks,
joe
