Just curious - why do you want to move away from RedHat? I am not trying to
start a distro war, just wondering what the differences are.
I've been poking around linux using redhat for years (except for a short
stint with turbolinux and slackware), and am now using it at my job as well.
I have never had the box and/or time to look at other distros.
Just wondering... that's all.

Subject: [NTLUG:Discuss] USB Keyboards (again)
So I have the tablet. I have decided to move away from RedHat and look
at other distributions. I tryed mandrake and decided it wasn't for me.
Try Gentoo and couldn't get it to recognize my CDROM drive. Suse,
doesn't get the USB keyboard or CDROM. This thing does not have a PS2
connection for anything, I can use the built in keyboard, but that makes
it a pain in the ass to use the docking station, which is the CD/DVD
ROM....
So is there a Linux distribution that has figured out that USB keyboard
are common now and should be supported at Install time, not just post
install? This is the 3rd time I have run into this issue and the last 2
times I have just used another OS because I didn't want to mess with
it...
