[NTLUG:Discuss] Apache UserDir

Just for kicks and learning experience i enabled the UserDir public_html
option in my Apache 2 configuration file on my RH 8.0 box at home. I created
the necessary directory under my home directory and when i try to browse to
it via http://mydomain.com/~myuser I get a 403 error. I tried playing with
the directory permissions some and cant seem to make it resolve to the
index.html i placed in there. I used the default <Directory> section for
public_html in the httpd.conf file. I am sure I am missing something
relatively simple here, but cant put my finger on it. What permissions does
the public_html directory need to have, what owner/group etc?
