I have dynamic routing turned off on the new router (Linksys).
The SMC Barricade has no such option, so I'm not sure what it does.
I don't know what the ISP is running upstream of us, but I will call them
and find out.
The Linksys has stayed up much for much longer periods of time than the
DLink ever did. It's less likely to be a heat issue than I originally
thought, since I leave it running and just punch the reset on the back to
bring it back. Also, the last time it hung up, we got it back just by
pinging it's own external IP. Weird.
