Yeah, sounds like it's not getting there. What's in your
/etc/hosts.allow? Have an entry like sendmail: ALL?
That may be all the problem is.
[comment]I added this and didnt seem to make any difference.
Running a firewall on the linux box? Can you telnet to it from the
outside? Router set up to forward connections to the box on port 25?
[comment] IPTables is not running and I am using a D-Link ethernet
router to NAT ports 110 and 25 to my RedHat box.
Did you change your client to use a name/password combo for outbound
mail?
