[NTLUG:Discuss] finding and duplicating Duplicate e-mails

I see people on the list finding and deleting duplicate files and
possibly entries in a file. I have a problem with Evolution sometimes
and it fails at like e-mil # 54 then stops. Then when I do send and
receive again, it re-downloads the first 54 and gets the rest. Is there
a way for me to search the mail file and delete the dups? 
Maybe using similar? I am looking into the man pages now, but thought I
would throw this out to the list to see i I am on the right track.
