That may help in some situations, but I tried that and it did *NOT* help here.
The problem may very well be Compaq's (HP's) with a weird BIOS; but I'll
again point out that SuSE deals with it and works, RH does NOT. So to me, RH
is the one broken; afterall, it found the CD originally to start the install
process, why did it lose it?
And don't get me going on the "broken" software straight off the CD (e.g.
dhclient, mozilla, KDE and screen locking (actually I hear this is "broken"
most every where as KDE & xscreensaver don't play nice together but shouldn't
RH have not used it if so?), plus others I'm not thinking of at the moment.
