Sorry to butt in,
I have plugged every kind of mouse and keyboard into an assortment of
kvm switches and I've not had the problems you mention except once. KVM
switches will often run off the power from the mouse and keyboard ports
on the back of computers. My 4 port IOGEAR does that right now. Belkin,
however, needs the AC adapter to maintain the signal to each computer.
That's one possibility. BTW, RH 7.3 never gavee me kudzu problems.
