Speaking as a journalist, I'm not paying any attention to this 
sensationalized publicity from the weirdo at Caldera. He was hired to 
make something happen and he didn't have a product so he reached as far 
as he could to come up with something.

I've been writing commercially since 1984. Also, having owned an on-line 
magazine, we hired people to get us hits. It impresses advertisers. When 
all is said and done, this means nothing. The writers are not on the 
clue train. All they have to do is get two people to say the same thing 
and they can print it.

Ultimately, whatever SCO/Caldera does will be either settled in court or 
the parties will add up the costs of litigation and settle out of court. 
It's all pointless.

I'm sorry that users like you and I have to deal with imaginary threats 
that seem very real. It is upsetting because it thrawts dreams and 
aspirations.
