Yes, maybe I should have stated this before, but I've
just installed the second NIC, a 3com 3c509B.


Check your /etc/sysconfig/network-scripts/ifcfg-eth1
to see if there is
a ZEROCONF entry.

 

I created that file myself and there is no ZERONCONF
entry.  BTW, what is XERONCONF?
