If you do not want to purchase CDs from someone, your 
best bets are either the KNOPPIX one already mentioned 
or to download one of the netinst CD (or floppy) 
images and do a network based install. That way, you 
only download the packages that you actually want.

That said, I have "jigdo'd" two architectures worth of 
Woody CDs (i386 and Powerpc). The jigdo process is 
actually fairly straight forward, I simply followed 
the directions I found on debian.org.

I should have a copy of the i386 set with me in the 
morning (unless I gave them away).


(Webmail is painful. Unfortunately, my computer died 
on Wednesday - hopefully it is _just_ the power 
supply - and I am attempting to avoid scattering my 
mail archive over too many computers)
