This one is new to me, and I am stumped
Dell Dimension XPF T700r is the original box, though this is the nth
regeneration of same
It is a PIII 700Mhz, with 448 MB memory, and three Maxtor hard drives
installed
On the primary IDE (ATA 66) on the mother board: the primary is a 10GB
5T060H6, and the secondary is a 60GB 51054H2 - cable is 80 wire.
On the primary (#1) connector an ATA 133 IDE card, the primary is a
200GB LTN301 - no secondary here - cable is 80 wire.
They were installed to be that way, and the BIOS seems them that way,
however, when installing Linux (Mandrake 9.1), they are seen during
partitioning as
- hda - 55GB
- hdb - 10GB
- hde - 189GB
and I get a curious set of results when I complete the install, and the
system tries to reboot for the first time. No matter where I put the /
and /boot partitions, the bootloader cannot seem to find a system to
boot. Also, (a) I select LILO for a bootloader and the boot time screen
stop after displaying "Grub Loading stage 2.."; (b) I select Grub for a
bootloader and the boot time screen stops after displaying "LI" or "LILO"

Any suggestions or insight would be most welcome and appreciated.
