Just an update...Tried the rebuild from the srpm as suggested by Alton
but there are too many dependencies to the webserver (which changed from
1.3 to 2.0) that is chokes before it even thinks about starting.
Then also tried updating via the 8.0 rpm, but there were glibc
dependencies and other...so the verdict is, no this can't be done -
easily. Not to say it couldn't be done by tracking down and updating
each dependent piece, but out of my scope right now.
