[NTLUG:Discuss] Laptop OS

I really am a big fan of Debian. I learned Linux on Mandrake, but the 
RPM's became a beating. Also, I found debian to be a great way to 
further learn more in depth Linux  toys.
I installed Debian on a fairly old Gateway machine recently. No problems 
once I found the correct hardware details so I could apply the correct 
drivers. There are some really good linux laptop sites out there. 
(alas... I can't remember any off the top of my head. Hit google a bit.)
