" If a company wants to move from the U.S. to Elbonia, that's their right to do
so. "

I certainly agree. However, as many listmates here know, outsourcing is not a
company move. As far as a country having laws to protect its citizens, why is
it not ok for the USA to do the same? I am rather tired of carrying the rest of
the world on my back. Both political parties share the blame for this situation
but neither has the guts to do anything about it. Certainly not one led by a
pro-business-at-any-cost person, not one led by a Kennedy-commie protege'. Once
again, as the two sides duke it out, we get caught in the crossfire.

I will not ever buy another Dell because of their offshoring to India. As a
retired AT&T employee I was disgusted to learn of their outsourcing. I get a
monthly long distance benefit which has kept me from severing that tie, but as
nationwide cellular calling bundles get cheaper, the worth of that benefit is
disappearing. I keep adding more companies to my list and, if enough others
would do the same, this outsourcing crap would stop. Just say "NO"

So it really is up to you.

Please: any replies need to go off-list. Thanks.
