You can enable this dynamically if you install the multizilla extension for
mozilla. Highly recommended for everyone - it's like mozilla on steroids.
You have to configure the user-agent thing after install, but it's not
hard.
That said, it is very easy to detect what browser you are using without the
user-agent string, as all browsers respond differently to javascript.
As I recently realized, IE is in the dark ages for javascript compliance.
After the b______'s got market dominance they stopped any further
development of IE, and as a result, mozilla is now several years further
along in W3C compliance.
