Oh yeah, I forgot to mention that it DID magically recognize the full
128 Meg stick when it was in the computer by itself, but it also did it
by itself.  When I installed it, it was only seeing 64 Megs, but when I
went to upgrade the memory again, it was seeing the full stick.  Nothing
was done to the machine in the interim...case was not cracked open,
etc.  For no apparent reason, it just started seeing the whole stick. 
This is my hope of the new 256 Meg stick I just installed, although I'm
not holding my breath.  

I'm hoping to get a new computer soon so I can give her one of our other
ones that works better.  :)
