[NTLUG:Discuss] VMware rebate - must register at VMware

In the PDF that Chris sent out, it reads, that the first 1000 LUG
members (of all of the LUGs listed on linux.org) that buy the product
can register the product and recieve the $100 rebate.  The rebate will
be sent in 8-12 weeks.  But you buy the product before you know if you
will get the rebate.  This means that if I go online and buy the product
right now, its possible (and I won't find out until its too late) that I
won't get the rebate because 1000 people have already registered.  So
there is no way to know that you get the rebate until after you buy it
at regular price.

Someone correct me if I'm wrong...and I would like to think that I am.
