If random lockups are ok.. then fine.
There's more wrong with 2.6 than just the plethora of drivers
that don't work right.
I'm sure it will all get fixed, but unlike 2.4, most of the
problems I'm seeing aren't even being viewed as problems (that is,
it's not affecting the maintainers, so they aren't interested
in trying to fix them).
I wouldn't use 2.6 on anything too important right now.
I have several experimental boxes right now, a dual Xeon 3.2
with a NEW supermicro board, my dual Athlon (not all that old),
my cappuccino G1 (i810 cheapy) all running 9.1 (2.6 kernel). The one that
performs the best is the G1. IMHO, that's not good news.
I guess the economy has affected many of the maintainers...
All of the problems I'm seeing are 2.6-driver related... not
specific to SUSE.
