Monty,

You might want to look into Arkeia (http://www.arkeia.com).  They have a 
backup solution that works pretty well.  I use it at home to backup a 
couple of linux boxes, and a windows box to a DLT4000 tape drive.  It's 
easy to setup through the GUI, and it has plugins for Oracle, MySQL, DB2, 
Exchange, and Lotus.  Not sure what the cost is for licensing, but it's 
worth looking into.
