Yes, considering the fact that the equipment costs less than $15/unit to
make, so it sells at a price point barely above $50.
You get a 64-bit MIPS4000-core, with 802.3 and 802.11 MAC PHYs,
peripherials and other goodies. The plastic design and LED are to
minimize cost as well.
If you don't like the Linksys setup in the WRT54G, then build your own.
There are kits to do so. I still can't believe what is sold at that
price point.
