Howdy,
  Well, if you want to find out, create a real FreeDOS boot disk, and
run your program under that.  FreeDOS is a pretty good start, but lots
of things don't run under it.  I know my favorite DOS editor does not
run under FreeDOS.  To expand on Bryan's suggestion, after testing on a
real FreeDos system, I suggest you get DR-DOS or PC-DOS.  If you don't
have a copy, they are cheap on eBay or at First Saturday.  I don't see
them every First Saturday any more, but eBay would have it.
