I am looking for some software to assist in managing some shared
resources in our data center. We have the job of managing power and net
for the entire building and I am trying to automate alot of the requests
and approvals. dotproject does alot of what I am needing, but not quite.
I am hoping someone here can suggest some software that will work
without me having to spend dev time on it. I need other users of the
systems to be able to submit requests for approval on work that will
impact the shared resources, I need some type of email notification and
approval steps. Just to make it a little more clear:

user1 submits a request to add a new 225amp panel utilizing UPS power.
A selected list of users should recieve an email notifying them of the
request.
An approved administrator will approve/deny the request and once again a
notification of the outcome should be emailed to the selected user list
as well as the submitor.


If anyone knows of any software that does this please email me, if
someone knows of something that is close but just needs a little
patching, that would be greatly appreciated as well.
