That was largely my point with the whole exam.  A lot of 1 line
questions without much clarification.  I guess the inclusion
of the "variable" really got me second-guessing myself because
I _was_ going to answer A&C to start with until I hit it.

Well, if you say it works like that, I'll take your word for it.

I'll check tomorrow morning on my SLES 8 server to be sure. 

But (D) would still work as well, but it might not be the "best"
answer.

I just reference what the Debian/SuSE docs say.
