- O'Reilly Discussion Guidelines
It's called using the O'Reilly Discussion Guidelines. Several people
have pointed out I follow them better than almost anyone. It results in
better Google searching and praise by those who are going through
archives. So I will continue to use them.
- Digests -> Lack of Threading
As far as "lack of threading," that's because I'm on the digest
versions. The only way to resolve that is for me to get off the digest
versions. I am more than willing to do that.
- Annoying SVLUG? Or just was Rick Moen there too?
As far as "annoying SVLUG," I only remember Rick Moen. He used to say
various things about ATA RAID, things that his own site are now 100%
opposite on. It's ironic how _igorance_ is the problem, not me
(including your _ignorance_ on the O'Reilly Discussion Guidelines and
how they _do_ benefit list archives).
If you want, go back to the archives and read up on what Rick Moen said,
and how he had changed to "my way of thinking," feel free. It's
apparent that Rick Moen's ego is too big to add another on SVLUG, so I
didn't stick around.
You're continued attempts to public slam me will get you nothing but
return fire. Spare the list. Don't get caught up in ettique that you
yourself seem to be ignorant on.

Discussing distributions is like discussing political parties.
Not only do they enflame people, but they often break down into
sets of blind assumptions. Instead, people should focus on the
specific details of underlying technologies, just like one
should when it comes to specific terms in legislation. Because
the similarities are often more surprising than the differences.
