I think certifications are a "vendor product pushing" scheme!
(with rare exceptions)

In fact, I actually forgot a couple in my list.
Just look at it all, it's ludicrous!

Sigh, I tried to describe what engineer was in another post.
You can't seem to let it go.

Why would you base what the IEEE is based on my having an e-mail alias?

Really?  Wow.  The IEEE does some great work.
They take best practices and document them.
So much so that 25% of all the world's technical documentation is from
them.

I don't start the threads.
And I probably shouldn't respond many times.

But at least I have a broad base of experience to tap from.
Which gives me the ability to see _all_ viewpoints.

So give me some damn credit, geez.
