Then why list 4 lines worth in response?

T. Cameron can speak for himself, but I've found him to be much more use
on the pratical level - which was my thought on why this list exists -
than the political level.

No, the whole thread was a waste of time - if MH wasn't at DefCon it
would never have gotten this far.  It's completely off topic, a waste of
the typing/energy that has been put into it.

You know more than a shitload of people - don't lord it.

I think the 100 line posts showing just how much you know is overkill -
you don't contribute - you correct.  That's fine for those that do know,
but it's confusing for the newb that just wants a printer to work.  They
don't care about 20 years of diatribe.  They just want the printer to
work.  Give 'em time and then they'll be interested in the 20 years.

I fully expect to get kicked off the list for this post - that's okay. 
Really - share what you know in relation to the question asked - don't
politicize it.
