Let's just focus on wiki for now. Rather than trying to "get it", may
I recommend just playing with it. Here's a quick on-line tutorial for
you (or anyone else) to practice with:

Entering text
at the bottom of the page, click the "Edit text of this page" link
type some text in the text box, like "Hello World"
click the "Save" button at the bottom of the page
notice how "Hello World" is now on the page for everyone in the world
to see

Finding stuff
enter the text "colinux" in the search text box at the bottom of the
page
   press enter
a list of wiki pages appears that contain the phrase "colinux"

BTW, the above text is also available in wiki form:

   http://www.cwelug.org/cgi-bin/wiki.cgi?WikiTutorial

If you'd like to add/modify the content in the tutorial, see the
instructions above.

Regards,
- Robert
